Solar Bermuda was conceived in 2007 by entrepreneur Jamie Smith. Already heading a leading construction firm, OWC Contracting, and immensely concerned with the joint pressures of rising fuel costs and the need to reduce carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels, Jamie’s goal is to provide state-of-the-art alternative energy systems to homeowners in Bermuda. Incorporated in 2008, Solar Bermuda provides all of the necessary components to incorporate or retrofit a home with alternative energy systems.
Solar Bermuda offers a range of products from solar thermal water heaters that reduce water heating costs to comprehensive solar photovoltaic systems that generate energy for all residential appliances. Solar Bermuda provides free home inspections and offers installation and servicing for all alternative energy systems
